London has never been so quiet
London, like most capital cities, is famed for its hustle and bustle. There is never a quiet moment in Britain’s capital. Usually, the 9 million population of London only desert the streets on Christmas day.
But the global outbreak of the coronavirus has seen all of the hottest tourist spots in London, and its busiest streets, turn into a ghost town.
Following the advice to work from home where possible, practise social distancing and avoid going out to pubs and cafes, London’s streets are eerily quiet.
