An Enterprise Rent-A-Car employee is accused of drugging his co-workers with LSD because he thought his workplace was “too negative”
The 19-year-old, from Missouri, allegedly told the police that he spiked his colleague’s drinks with the hallucinogenic drug in a bid to “remove negative energy” from his workplace as “they were too uptight, and they needed to have better energy”, it is reported.
Two employees at the car rental company were taken to the hospital because they feel “dizzy and shaky and didn’t know why”. The 27-year-old manager later called the Arnold police.
She told the Jefferson County Leader that “she saw him allegedly holding a water dropper and ‘messing with’ her water jug.”
The teenager was later arrested and has since been released. The man’s name has still not been released as he has not yet been charged.
He could face charges of second-degree assault and possession of a controlled substance. However, nothing has been filed yet according to the Jefferson County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office.
The DrugFree.Org states that LSD is the most common hallucinogen, which can alter awareness of perception, thoughts and feelings. It’s also reported to have been tested for the treatment of anxiety and depression.
Symptoms of LSD use could include dilated pupils, higher body temperature, increased heart rate and blood pressure, excessive sweating etc.
