Manchester is doing itself proud.
There have been all sorts of reports circulating on social media. Some are true, but many others are either irresponsibly false or shamefully invented. As the details continue to remain sketchy about what exactly happened during a ‘serious incident’ at Manchester Arena on Monday night, there have been far too many people confusing matters with uneducated guesses or fabrications.
If such situations bring out the worst traits in some people, they also bring out the very best in others. Manchester is known to be a robust, confident and caring city, and that has been exemplified by the #roomsformanchester hashtag. Local members of the public have been offering up their living spaces for those affected by the fatal incident.
