The incidents are not believed to be related
Police have launched manhunts after two separate broad daylight stabbings saw two men in their 50s rushed to hospital in east London this afternoon.
At around 12:40pm a man received a puncture wound to his back outside Barking underground station. He was treated by paramedics and taken to hospital. His condition is not believed to be life-threatening.

Then, at 3:00pm, there was a separate assault at The Roundhouse pub in Dagenham. A 50-year-old man was found stabbed by police. He was airlifted to hospital and his condition is not thought to be life-threatening.

The Met police have yet to make an arrest following either incident and cordons remain in place at both scenes, the force said.
