Dubstep producer DJ Artwork is a pizza pioneer, forging a new era of excellence in food delivery.
The music man made shockwaves on social media this week, after he forgot to get himself some grub before embarking on a five-hour train ride from Glasgow to Sheffield.

With options limited for food, he began to explore some left field choices.

And then came the blue sky thinking. The lightbulb moment. Plato once said “necessity is the mother of invention”, but we don’t even think he could have foresaw DJ Artwork’s amazing next step.

DJ Artwork’s plan would take careful planning. Estimating that a pizza would take around 50 minutes to cook and be delivered, he thought ahead of time, choosing a train station that would allow him to make his pick up. Next came the challenge of finding a train station that would not have ticket barriers, so the delivery person would have no problem to make the drop out.
After a bit of maths and Google searching, the plan was set.

Then came the waiting…

And more waiting…

The tension was palpable. Both for Artwork and the rest of the Twitter timeline.

But then, it happened. Pizza brilliance. A step change in food delivery. This video is food’s moon landing*, nothing would be the same after.

DJ Artwork had pulled off his pizza heist, with Domino’s delivering a Hawaiian (don’t even) to his train.
People on the train were quick to celebrate his success.

Not to mention rapturous applause on Twitter.

What was Artwork’s next step? Why, doing it all over again on a train passing through Kettering.

Credit to Domino’s for its dedicated delivery staff. And to you DJ Artwork, we salute you. Not all heroes wear capes, but you have shown us a whole new world.
Never pay £4 for a dodgy sandwich on the train cart again.
(*If DJ Artwork is Neil Armstrong, then comedian Chris Ramsay is Yuri Gagarin – having pulled off a similar feat in 2014.)
