The Titanic is going down!

Google searches for “Cancel Conservative Membership” spiked by 1000 per cent following the news of Christmas Parties at Downing Street last year.

The UK has one thing on its mind, and that’s Christmas Parties. However, while most of us would love to throw a festive get together, we are largely thinking about the Christmas Party Scandal that broke courtesy of ITV.

Following the domino effect that saw more secrets revealed and a particularly defamatory video surfacing, google searches began painting a clear picture of trust in the UK.

Data from Casino Bee revealed that online interest in cancelling Conservative party memberships shot up by 1,011 per cent from the week commencing December 5.

“This data offers a fascinating insight into the reaction to this leaked video, not just from those who oppose the Conservative party but from party members themselves,” said a Casino Bee spokesperson.

Similarly, searches for “Boris Johnson resign” rose by 354 per cent and “Join Labour Party” saw a surge of 900 per cent.

While some people are looking to jump ship, and others are simply waiting for the resignation, there appears to be another sect of the public looking for a party themselves.

A Facebook event dubbed ‘Christmas Rave’ has been set up, also revealing that Boris Johnson “and chums” would be in attendance.

The advertisement adds: “No social distancing required.

“Bring who you like, bring your own nibbles and drink.”

With over half a million people now slated as going and another 600k ready to pounce, Downing Street is looking to be a must-see venue over the coming weeks.
