Is the United Kingdom now a right-wing country?
If exit polls are to be believed, the United Kingdom has voted in Boris Johnson’s Conservative party has won a resounding majority in the 2019 general election.
While a Tory victory was expected, the scale of the win was not, and it is a situation which leaves Britain peering towards itself and asking what kind of country it is.
At the JOE election we discussed whether Britain must now look at itself and accept that it is now a right-wing country, after what is nothing less than a landslide for the Tories.
