Farage has failed to become an MP on seven separate occasions
Nigel Farage has stated that he will not stand as a Brexit party candidate in the upcoming general election, in a bid to lead the 600 “troops” from his party which will be standing for election.
Speaking at his party’s election launch in London this week, Farage hit out at Boris Johnson and Jacob Rees-Mogg for their dismissal of the possibility of an alliance between the Tories and the Brexit party.
Farage, who has failed to win a seat in the House of Commons on seven individual locations, rejected the idea that he would risk failing for an eighth time, as he spoke to JOE at the event.
