You’d think that the President of France would have a bit more patience than this
Emmanuel Macron was elected President of France in 2017.
Having got off to a positive start, his approval rate has dropped for two consecutive months, with May representing his worst month since being elected.
First Post claim that Macron only has a 30 per cent approval rate less than two years into his presidency.
And after today’s antics, he can give up on having the young people on his side for the forseeable future…
During a visit to Mont Valerian fort, Macron was doing his usual president business and also shaking the hands of a number of young people who had came out to see him.
One enthusiastic teenager addressed him by his nickname, shouting “Manu!”
Macron was not pleased.

The teen apologised, saying “Sorry, Mr President,” as he looked confused and embarrassed by the whole situation.
But that wasn’t enough as it just set Macron on off a rant.
After initially stating “No. You can’t do that,” Macron goes on to completely belittle the boy, telling him that he “should behave” and that he’s “playing the fool,”
Only one person looks foolish from where we’re standing.
He then gives the teenager a condescending slap on the hand as he goes on his way.
