All of the facepalms
Donald Trump saying something stupid isn’t really news anymore.
Another thing that isn’t really news anymore: Donald Trump saying something wildly inaccurate about Britain.
Still, the US President’s latest comments are hilariously wrong and will definitely cause any Brit to heavily roll their eyes.
Trump was held a rally in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania on Thursday night. He was appearing to support a Republican candidate for the US Senate, but as you’d expect, still found time to bash the media, ranting about “fake, fake, disgusting news” and calling journalists “horrible, horrendous people”.
But one little section really stood out.
"I have great respect for the U.K. United Kingdom. Great respect. People call it Britain. They call it Great Britain. They used to call it England, different parts." (via Fox) pic.twitter.com/IgLQ6CFjzQ

“I have great respect for the U.K. United Kingdom. Great respect. People call it Britain. They call it Great Britain. They used to call it England, different parts.”
Oh, dear.
Donald Trump’s recent visit to the UK was filled with protests and giant balloons. Prince William and Prince Charles both reportedly refused to meet Trump, and the president also broke royal protocol twice when meeting the Queen.
