Mancini plans triple swoop on City

Roberto Mancini is planning to bring no fewer than three Man City stars to Inter Milan in the summer, according to the Daily Mail.

The former City boss is eager to strengthen his squad for a Serie A title assault, and Samir Nasri, Yaya Toure and James Milner are all on his radar.

Mancini signed the trio during his spell at the Etihad and is reportedly convinced he can persuade them to move to Italy – with City eyeing Ross Barkley has a potential midfield replacement.

West Ham to offer £10m for Jenkison

Yes, you read that right. West Ham are preparing a £10m(!) bid to turn Carl Jenkinson’s loan into a permanent deal, report the Daily Star. Carl Jenkinson. 10 million pounds. Madness.

The Hammers are ready to launch the huge offer to halt Liverpool’s interest in the right-back, although they would reportedly prefer to sign Glen Johnson from the Reds if he’ll take a wage cut.

Still: Carl Jenkinson. £10m.

Arsenal secure the ‘new Messi’

Arsenal are set to cross the Ts and dot the Is on a £4.5m deal for Argentine youngster Maxi Romero after resolving the forward’s ownership issues.

The talented 16-year-old, who has predictably been likened to Lionel Messi, currently plays for Velez Sarsfield and will remain there for two years on loan as part of his agreement to join the Gunners.
