It means the Red Devils are forced to rub shoulders with the lesser lights of European football like Qarabag FK, FC Krasnodar and Astra Giurgiu.
But it also means United’s matches aren’t all kicking off at the prime time slot they are used to.
No, no. You’re in Europa country now, lads. And that means 6pm kick offs.
Yep, United’s first match in this season’s competition away at Feyenoord starts this evening at 6pm.
So if you want to watch their 1-1 draw with the Dutch side, then make sure you’re out of work sharpish.

One man you won’t be watching lumber about the field, trying to decide whether to play up front or in midfield (and therefore failing at both) is Wayne Rooney.
Jose Mourinho has left the United skipper out of the squad for the match.
“Wayne has played every game since the start of the season,” said the Portuguese.
“He has also played 90 minutes for England and he played 90 minutes last weekend and I want him to be fresh for the next match. In the position he plays, I have lots of solutions.”
Luke Shaw will also miss out with Marcos Rojo set to deputise for the England left-back.
