Arsenal’s draw at Norwich came at a heavy cost.
Ahead of a crunch Champions League clash in Greece and a congested Christmas period in the Premier League, Laurent Koscielny and Alexis Sanchez were both forced from the pitch with injuries.
Arsene Wenger also revealed after the game that Santi Carzola had been struggling with a knee problem in the closing stages against Norwich, as his side’s injury problems continued to pile up.
Arsenal fan Piers Morgan is well known for sharing his opinions about the club on Twitter, and having torn into Olivier Giroud, he was quick to write off any hopes of a league title after full time at Carrow Road.
Giroud has done nothing.
Literally nothing.

Beaten by West Brom.
Out-played by Norwich.
Alexis injured.
Title contenders? Forget it. #afc— Piers Morgan (@piersmorgan) November 29, 2015
As is frequently the case when Arsenal have a bad result, Morgan reverted to criticism of Arsene Wenger and blamed a lack of ambition for the club not securing Liverpool’s new manager, Jurgen Klopp.
Meanwhile, Jurgen Klopp continues to transform Liverpool.
We could have had him, we should have had him.
No ambition. #afc— Piers Morgan (@piersmorgan) November 29, 2015
He’s also unimpressed that Wenger failed to add depth to the Arsenal squad over the summer months.
Wenger didn't buy a single outfield player this summer despite £200m in the bank. That's why our squad can't cope with a few injuries. #afc
