Amid reports that Barcelona have identified Aaron Ramsey as a transfer target, the player has admitted that he’s flattered with the links.
There are growing rumours that the Catalan club are ready to ‘swoop’, ‘pounce’ and do other animalistic things to the Arsenal man as soon as their transfer ban comes to an end in January 2016.
Speaking to the Guardian, the Welsh maestro was candid about the sense of pride he feels about being linked to a big-money move to the Nou Camp.
“It’s very flattering,” said Ramsey in reference to the rumours. “They did the treble last year and it’s just really nice to be linked with one of the best clubs in the world.”
The 24-year-old went on to explain that he would quite like to sample life in La Liga – just not at the moment.
“One day I would like to go over to Spain to play just to see what it’s like and to experience that,” admitted the Welshman. “But at the moment I’m with Arsenal and I feel like this Arsenal team can go and be successful and challenge for things.”
