The Chilean has been stuck in the UK whilst the rest of his teammates are on tour in the US
You’ve got to feel for Alexis Sanchez, whilst the rest of his teammates have been preparing themselves mentally for the season ahead – playing friendlies and already breaking important records – the forward had been refused entry to the United States of America leaving him at home in Manchester.
He’s been finding ways to fill his time, though, as documented by his Snapchat. He posted an image earlier today featuring him and one of the team’s coaches, which showed him in training. He captioned the image: “Last training in Manchester. Soon”, then added an American flag.
Although Man U fans will no doubt be delighted to see their highest paid player joining the rest of the squads, the main thing people have noticed about the pic is that it shows Sanchez sporting a shaved head, a pretty big change from his usual hairdo.

Manchester United had claimed that “a personal administrative issue” had prevented the 29-year-old from travelling to the US, however, the Times claims that Sanchez was denied a visa due to a previous tax fraud conviction from his time in Spain.
Sanchez was hit with a 16-month prison sentence back in February for defrauding the Spanish Treasury of €1 million while playing for Barcelona.
