After failing to get the better of Floyd Mayweather in the ‘Fight of the Century’, Manny Pacquiao’s next test could have a more British flavour.
Bolton fighter Amir Khan was ringside for Pac-Man’s defeat in Las Vegas, and the former two-time world champion is on the list of potential opponents ahead of a rumoured bout in Dubai next year.

According to The Daily Telegraph, promoter Bob Arum counted Khan among a handful of names in line for a prospective fight in “early 2016”, amid reports of heavy backing for a Pacquiao bout in the Middle East.
However Arum, who is best known for his work with Muhammad Ali, has also refused to absolutely rule out a rematch between Pacquiao and Mayweather.
It remains to be seen whether a bout against Pacquiao is at the top of Khan’s agenda, or whether the Brit will hold out in the hope of a fight against Mayweather instead.
One thing is for certain though: the Filipino remains a huge draw on his own and seems set to bring a huge crowd to Dubai whoever he ends up taking on.
