Albanian champions Skenderbeu are at risk of missing their Champions League second leg after requesting visas for the wrong country.
After cruising to a 4-1 win at home against Belfast’s Crusaders, officials at the club applied for the return leg’s visas in the Republic of Ireland, despite Belfast being a part of the UK.
Look, we understand that the history of Anglo-Irish relations is complicated and confusing, but surely they have maps in Albania.
Thankfully, the mistake was spotted by someone along the way and arrangements have been made for Skenderbeu players to pick up their UK visas in Paris, with the game set to go ahead as planned.
