Ana Ivanovic is reportedly considering swapping her base in Switzerland for a move to Bolton.
The former world number one tennis player has been dating Manchester United’s Bastian Schweinsteiger since 2014, and the Manchester Evening News now explains that a move to the northwest would allow her to be closer to him.
Howard Green, Ivanovic’s fitness coach, is based at the Bolton Arena, and it now appears that the Serbian will be basing herself nearby.
“I will be based more there now. It just came about.” Ivanovic explained, when discussing a move to Britain.
“I think for me it’s very important to have a good team and to feel comfortable in the environment.”
The Bolton Arena is situated next to Bolton Wanderers’ Macron Stadium and includes a tennis centre.
