In March, Anthony Joshua predicted that an upset was on the cards for Tony Bellew against David Haye and his opinion hasn’t changed.
Bellew remains an underdog for the grudge rematch despite the fact that he stopped ‘The Hayemaker’ in their initial meeting six months ago.
Bookmakers seem to be putting a lot of stock in the ruptured Achilles tendon which forced Haye to fight on one leg for half the fight as they expect him to tie the rivalry series at 1-1 when they share the ring again in December.
But, unsurprisingly, Joshua’s stance has not changed and he fully expects his Matchroom stablemate, Bellew, to do the business yet again on December 17.

A victory for Haye could potentially put him in a position to challenge Joshua, who defends his titles against late replacement Carlos Takam in Cardiff next weekend, but the London 2012 gold medallist doesn’t foresee a scenario in which Haye avenges his most recent defeat.
“Brilliant for Bellew [to get the rematch], he’s a phenomenal character, one of the realists in the sport. I’ve got a lot of respect for him. I’ll be there, it’ll be one before Christmas to look forward to,” Joshua said, via BoxingScene.com.

“It’ll be the same outcome. Haye is fit. He is training on Miami on boats living the life, but he won the fight before it was even fought in his head.
“If you look at the previous fight, Haye was just trying to land Haymakers and Bellew was the boxer.
“Haye was swinging a big right hand and Bellew was moving his feet well. When you feel someone’s best and you’re able to carry on that gives you a boost.”
