Arsene Wenger has confirmed that Arsenal will definitely be without one of their defenders for Manchester United’s visit to the Emirates on Sunday.
Laurent Koscielny suffered a hamstring strain during the defeat to Olympiakos in midweek, and the Arsenal boss claims that the defender will be out of action for a number of games.
“Laurent Koscielny will certainly be out. He has a hamstring strain, it looks like it will be three weeks [out],” said Wenger.
The loss of the Frenchman will leave Wenger with some big decisions to make against the league leaders.
Mikel Arteta and Mathieu Flamini are also expected to miss the game, but Francis Coquelin is set to keep his place from the defeat in midweek.
