If you’re a fan of a Premier League football club, your target for an international break tends to be making sure no one gets injured.
But for Arsenal fans, they got much more than that, with 10 of their players finding the scoresheet for their countries.
All in all, Gunners players found the net 15 times, with Alexis Sanchez’s performance for Chile against Peru a highlight.
Plenty of big names used the break to play themselves into form, while even Serge Gnabry – currently out on loan at West Brom – got amongst the goals for Germany’s Under-21 side.
Oh, and not that it needed to get any better, but you might have heard that Robin van Persie and Cesc Fabregas – two of the less popular former Arsenal players out there – didn’t have the best of weeks.
