“I’m not f*cking leaving!”
We can expect plenty of repurposed memes of the famous line from the Wolf of Wall Street in the coming days as reports have emerged that Arsene Wenger has finally arrived at a decision with regards to his Arsenal future.
The Gunners’ 3-1 defeat to West Brom on Saturday compounded an already miserable season for Wenger’s side and, after the game, he teased supporters with an intriguing message.
“Don’t worry, I know what I will do in my future. So, you will soon know. Very soon…you will see. We are in a unique bad patch that we never had in twenty years. We lose game after game at the moment. That to me is far more important than my future.”
His mind was made up. That was clear.

And while fans went back and forth on whether Wenger was hinting that he was staying or leaving, reports have since suggested that it is the former.
Outlets as wide-ranging as the Guardian, the Telegraph and the Daily Mail reported on Sunday evening that Wenger wants to remain Arsenal manager next season.
The vast majority of Arsenal supporters have finally lost their patience with the Frenchman, who has been in place since 1996, as they fear that the Gunners will never improve with Wenger in the dugout.
Arsenal dropped to sixth place in the Premier League table at the weekend, sitting six points behind fourth-placed Liverpool now, and cries are growing louder for the board to part ways with the 67-year-old.
No announcement is expected before Arsenal’s next game, a home tie against Manchester City, and the board are said to be coming up with the best way to sell news of Wenger’s decision to stay on to an increasingly frustrated fanbase.
One quick perusal of Twitter will tell you everything you need to know about the reaction to suggestions that Wenger is actually going nowhere.

I have to say it's long overdue for Arsene Wenger to leave our club, don't forget he joined the Arsenal when we already had great players..
