Arsenal’s title hopes were dealt another blow on Wednesday with the news that Santi Cazorla will be out until March at the earliest.
The Spaniard suffered knee ligament damage during the Gunners’ 1-1 draw away to Norwich on Sunday, and he now joins the likes of Alexis Sanchez, Francis Coquelin and Theo Walcott on the sidelines.
As you might expect, Arsenal fans were not happy to hear that there would be no Santi this Christmas.
Coquelin, three months. Cazorla, three months. Welbeck?? Sanchez?? Wilshire??… #Arsenal's season is properly stuffed. Fuck. Depressing.

Of course, Arsenal fans knew where to point the finger…
Wengers failure to buy in the summer is inexcusable and yet again he is responsible for us failing in the league again #wengerout #afc

How Cazorla was left to play the whole 90 at Norwich is a disgrace.
Similar happened with Özil a while back and he had long layoff after.— Barry 🅰️FC (@BarryArsenal7) December 2, 2015
At least we didn't leave Cazorla on the field on one leg for 90 minutes at Norwich & signed outfield players in the summer. Oh wait.

While some tried their best to stay optimistic…
Cazorla is out with an injury for 3 months. 2 seasons ago that would be the end to arsenals season but with ozil and Sanchez they can do it

Will Arsenal splash the cash in January to bring in extra cover? Our followers on Twitter don’t seem convinced…
How many players will Arsenal sign in January?
