If Arsenal want to make it out of their Champions League group, at least one victory over Bayern Munich will be essential.
The Germans are hot favourites to win Group F after ending Dinamo Zagreb’s 45-game unbeaten run with a crushing 5-0 victory.
But they will have to make do against the Gunners without Mario Gotze, who has been ruled out for 10-12 weeks with an injury picked up in Germany’s Euro 2016 qualifier against Ireland.

If Arsenal can pick up four points from the double-header against Bayern they will be right back in the qualification mix.
With Gotze ruled out, the Bundesliga champions will have to make do with just Douglas Costa. And Thomas Muller. And Thiago. And Kingsley Coman. And Robert Lewandowski.
F**k.
