It may only be match day three in this season’s Champions League, but Arsenal’s chances of making it out of the group stage could well hinge on tonight’s game with Bayern Munich.
Having lost their opening two games, Arsenal really need to register a win against one of the strongest sides in the world.
Unsurprisingly, given what happened against Olympiacos, Petr Cech returns to Champions League action at the expense of David Ospina. Theo Walcott is also given the nod ahead of Olivier Giroud.

Pep Guardiola’s Bayern may be without the likes of Arjen Robben (thigh) and Franck Ribery (ankle) but is still able to name an impressive line-up. Douglas Costa, despite having to undergo a late fitness test, is included in their starting eleven.
