Alexis Sanchez and Mesut Özil are reportedly ready to sign new contracts with Arsenal.
The Daily Mirror claim the duo have been in talks over new deals for some time and are now ready to put pen to paper as Arsene Wenger looks to reward their fine form this season.
Sanchez will sign on first, with the 27-year-old’s new deal believed to run until 2020 and include a pay rise to £150,000-a-week. There had been rumours that the Chilean might look for a move to Real Madrid, but a new contract should put that speculation to rest for a while at least.
The former Barcelona forward has been an instrumental part of the Arsenal team since arriving, top-scoring in his first season and finding the net in the 2015 FA Cup final win over Aston Villa.
Former Real man Özil, meanwhile, is set to retain his status as Arsenal’s highest earner with a new five-year deal worth £160,000-a-week to the World Cup winner.
Both deals are also thought to include incentives for the players on top of their already high wages.
