Arsenal might have a new contender for most handsome man
Yannick Carrasco could be an Arsenal player soon after reports emerged that the Premier League club had made a bid for the Dalian Yifang attacker.
Carrasco moved to the Chinese Super League in 2018 after three seasons at Atletico Madrid, a spell which saw him score in the Champions League final defeat to rivals Real Madrid in 2016.
He moved to the club, which is owned by Atletico owners Wanda Group, alongside former Atletico teammate Nicholas Gaitan, but has struggled to adapt to life in China.
The 25-year-old addressed rumours linking him with a move back to Europe in an interview with Belgian website Nieuwsblad, in which he confirmed that an offer for him had been received by his club..
“There is now an offer on the table and the negotiations with my agent are progressing well,” Carrasco said.
“I am the most important player in the club, but I hope the chairman understands me.”
Arsenal have been linked with the incredibly handsome man for some time, with reports suggesting that the club had chosen Barcelona attacker Denis Suarez over him during the January transfer window.
Suarez, who signed on a loan deal from the LaLiga champions, was injured for the vast majority of his spell at the Emirates.
