A miserable run or results, disgruntled supporters, key players questioning their teammates and now this – an injury to one of their most consistent performers…there’s just no let up for Arsene Wenger.
The Arsenal boss confirmed on Friday that Petr Cech will not feature for up to a month after picking up a calf injury in the defeat to Swansea City.
It means the goalkeeper is likely to miss crucial games against Spurs (a), Hull City (a), West Brom (h), Barcelona (a), Everton (a) and Watford (h).
The news comes as another bitter blow for Arsenal and their supporters, who have once again watched what seemed to be a promising title challenge unravel as the season approaches its climax.
The prospect of seeing Cech replaced by a man whose most notable moment of the season so far was dropping the ball in his own goal when handed a Champions League start will not fill anyone with confidence, either.

Ospina for the next 4 weeks, including a game against Barcelona. Superb.

My mind went all tactical this morning thinking about how we might beat Spurs but then I remembered David Ospina will be in goal.
