Two Aston Villa players have been accused of swearing at fans during their dismal FA Cup draw to Wycombe.

Languishing at the foot of the Premier League, Aston Villa hit a new low at the weekend when they were held by League 2 side Wycombe Wanderers in the FA Cup.

Fans have complained about the actions of Brad Guzan and Joleon Lescott during the match, with reports that the pair told fans to “f**k off”.

An eyewitness told Aston Villa fanpage Vitalfootball.co.uk: “I object to two senior players spending 90 minutes laughing and joking on the bench and littering the pitch with their chewing in some sort of childish game.

“The guy next to me knocked on the dugout, they both turned round, we said they were disgraceful and obviously didn’t care.

“With that Guzan told him to ‘f**k off’, I knocked the dugout and told Lescott he is supposed to be Villa to which he replied: ‘I am’. He turned away, I knocked the dug out again and said: ‘Why are you not acting like one?’ with which he said: ‘F**k off’.”

The Villa fan commended Micah Richards for intervening after he was substituted on the 84-minute mark. He added that he forwarded his complaint about Guzan and Lescott to the club, but had yet to receive a response.
