He walked right into this one.
The Champions League is back next week and that means a couple of things.
Bayern Munich will, inevitably, beat Arsenal. Real Madrid and Barcelona will make it to the quarter-finals. And Manchester United fans will be watching on as their team prepares for their Europa League tie against Lyon.
United are actually playing Saint Etienne in the last 32 of the competition, but you’ve so little interest in the Europa League you didn’t even notice what we did there.
It’s a far cry from the days when United constantly made the later stages of the Champions League. Since David Moyes got the team relegated from the top six in 2014, United have had just one season in Europe’s top competition.
And that was finished by Christmas.
United are currently only two points from the the top four, so maybe United fans will be able to enjoy next week’s fixtures.

Bayern will, and this tweet made the club’s Twitter account happy as it’s just a week until they beat Arsenal 2-0 at the Emirates.

A long suffering United fan responded to this tweet. He was sickened by two grown men dabbing.

Bayern’s Twitter account had a top, top response though.
They reminded the United fan of the awkward fact that Paul Pogba and Jesse Lingard, two United players, are fond of a dab themselves. They also watch Champions League games at home like the rest of us.
. @MysteryMartial To Europa League? Looks like there's already enough dabbing down there. 😉 pic.twitter.com/oVwi9lpwLL

Bayer Leverkusen loved the tweet and Germany was united in a way not seen since the Berlin wall came down in 1989.

However, the United fan hit back.

But was knocked to the canvas once again.

An ally came to the aid of the United fan.

But Leverkusen’s Twitter account maintained a philosophical outlook on their current plight.

The United fan got the last word in, fighting in vain till the bitter end.
