Brutal, but incredibly funny, from Benzema
Karim Benzema brutally trolled Micah Richards before the Champions League final, claiming that he doesn’t know who the former Manchester City man is.
The French striker has enjoyed a hugely successful campaign, impressing in both LaLiga and the Champions League. He scored important goals against Paris Saint-Germain, Chelsea and Manchester City during Madrid’s route to the final in Paris.
However, Sky Sports and CBS Sports pundit Richards previously claimed that he has only been ‘convinced’ by the 34-year-old forward over the ‘last six months’.

Speaking after Benzema scored a stunning hat-trick against PSG earlier in the competition, Richards said: “But now, he’s convinced me.”
His comments were met with confusion by Thierry Henry, who replied: “Just now?”
The former Man City man added: “Of late, in the last six months. He’s convinced that he’s up there with Harry Kane and Robert Lewandowski.”
Still in shock, Henry added: “Wow. Just tonight?!” To which Richards replied: “Last six months.”
Prior to the Champions League final at the Stade de France, Guillem Balague asked Benzema if he knows who Richards was, adding that the 33-year-old had ‘doubted him’.
Benzema fired back with a brilliant response, claiming he didn’t know who the Englishman was, before adding: “Send him my love.”

Henry, who worked alongside Richards for CBS Sports on Saturday night, couldn’t help but laugh about Benzema’s reply, saying: “That’s cold,” while Jamie Carragher also enjoyed the Frenchman’s remark.
The Madrid striker has scored 44 goals and registered 15 assists in 46 matches in all competitions this season, winning both the Champions League and LaLiga title.
