An incredible one in 10 Premier League fans are likely to switch their allegiances to a new team ahead of the 2015-16 season.
Spurs fans are the most likely to change to another team’s colours, perhaps disillusioned by a couple of poor seasons, while champions Chelsea seem most likely to gain new supporters as they chase back-to-back titles.
The figures come from a survey carried out by VoucherCodesPro.co.uk, with 11% of the 3,124 British men surveyed saying they’d switch allegiances.
Spurs fans made up more than one fifth of that 11%, with Norwich running them a close second.

And if you were trying to come up with reasons other than glory-hunting for these figures, think again.
39% of these traitors people supporting a new club have made the decision because they want to follow a club with a chance of winning major trophies, while a further 45% are tired of seeing their team lose, which is kind of a version of the same thing.
Of course none of the JOE team would ever think of switching sides. In fact, a number of us enjoy the pain of watching defeat after defeat.
