The Portuguese Magnifico finally got his contract
Bruno Fernandes has signed a new contract at Manchester United, keeping the midfielder at Old Trafford until 2027.
There has been plenty of speculation surrounding The Red Devil’s star man with even some speculation that the 29-year-old might move away from the club.
Fabrizio Romano reported the exclusive news saying that the Portuguese attacking midfielder has signed a new contract keeping him in Manchester until June 2027.
Back in May Bruno gave a frank reflection of his position at the club.
The United captain said: ““I will be here until… I’ve said, the club needs to want me.
“I feel the club wants me to be part of the future, so as I said, I don’t want to be a player the club doesn’t want to have. If for some reason they don’t want to have me, I will go.”
Unsurprisingly the club does want him and now Bruno can look forward to another three years at United.
Fernandes has been one of the most successful post Alex Ferguson transfers being signed from Sporting Lisbon for £45m with add-ons of up to £68m.
The ‘Portuguese Magnifico’ has scored 79 goals and assisted 67 in 234 matches for Manchester United winning the League Cup and FA Cup with the team.
