Four matches in one day
Russia 2018 was a World Cup that kicked off with the promise to entertain us and so far it hasn’t disappointed.
You might have spent the morning reliving that Christiano Ronaldo goal, but there is little time for pundits to dwell, or fan minds to linger on any moment for too long. Because the only thing that remains certain in the group stages is that there will be more football to come. Lots more football.

Day three promises to be the biggest day of the competition so far, in terms of the number of matches to watch, at least. In fact, from 11am today a ten-hour marathon of games begins.
First up Paul Pogba’s France take on Australia on the BBC. Then you have to switch over to ITV where Messi will be out to prove that anything CR7 can do, he can do better, as Argentina take on Iceland.
Then it’s back to the Beeb for Peru, Denmark. And finally, players wearing the two best kits of the tournament face off as Croatia take on Nigeria on ITV.
The line-up of the games today is as follows:
France v Australia – 11am
Argentina v Iceland – 2pm
Peru v Denmark – 5pm
Croatia v Nigeria – 8pm
