Wenger has announced he will be leaving Arsenal after 20 years at the end of this season.

The Frenchman made the Gunners a Premier League superpower in his first decade at the helm but the latter part of his tenure has seen his team develop a soft underbelly and an aversion to serious title challenges.

Wenger will surely be inundated with offers from across the world but The Telegraph is reporting of two jobs that may tempt the 68-year-old into making a rapid return. Everton may well be looking to move Sam Allardyce on at the end of the season and would reportedly love to get Wenger on-board for a few seasons at Goodison Park.

The other option would be a return to Wenger’s old club, Monaco. Leonardo Jardim is still in charge at the French club but Jason Burt believes the Portuguese may be one of the leading contenders to take the Arsenal job.

Le Parisien believe Arsenal’s main priority would be more than willing to head for a managerial stint in London. The French outlet is claiming that Carlo Ancelotti is top of the Gunners’ list and that he is willing to talk to them.

The 58-year-old Italian managed Chelsea to league success and has had trophy-winning stints at Real Madrid and Bayern Munich in the past decade. Chelsea were said to be looking into Ancelotti replacing Antonio Conte at Stamford Bridge next season and he was pictured at the club’s Champions League clash with Barcelona back in February:

However, the promise of full transfer control at Arsenal may sway the former AC Milan star.

James Benge of the London Evening Standard has posted an Ancelotti comment that may excite some Arsenal fans:

‘The Gunners know their own future, if their plans involve me then I’m pleased from a professional point of view.’
