The former Celtic hero pulled no punches.
Ronny Delia is a man that’s under pressure after Celtic crashed out of the Europa League following a 2-1 defeat to Ajax at Celtic Park.
The result means that the Scottish champions have failed to pick up a win in the competition so far, draws against Fenerbahçe and Ajax are the only points they’ve registered, as the fans are beginning to become disillusioned with the level of performances on the pitch.
On the domestic front, Celtic still look imperious as seen by their 6-point lead on Hearts and the fact that they’re still in the hunt for the treble.
This being said, the Scottish giants have fallen massively off the pace in terms of European football and former Parkhead favourite Chris Sutton pulled no punches in his appraisal of their form on BT Sport.
"The club need to have a look at themselves!" Strong views on @celticfc from an incensed Chris Sutton! #UEL https://t.co/KU5iZiKkeQ

It seems that Celtic’s Leigh Griffiths didn’t need to be hear Sutton’s damning words though because the 25-year-old was incredibly critical of his own performance on Twitter.
I can't be more apologetic than I am right now. My performance was Simply SHOCKING and ultimately its cost us dearly. 😭😭😭
