Every social media manager’s worst nightmare
Celtic’s Instagram admin had a moment to forget as they posted what appeared to be a holiday photo on the club’s official page by accident.
The post – which was promptly deleted – shows a woman posing for a photo prior to eating a plate of food, alongside the caption: “Excuse me I asked for the large fish!”
The post was present on Celtic’s Instagram page for a few minutes before being taken down by a member of staff.
However, it was live long enough for hundreds of people to comment on the original post, and for social media to react to the mix-up.
How did social media react to the post?
In typical fashion, social media users – particularly those on Twitter – reacted with a host a funny memes and comical responses.

On the pitch, Celtic are enjoying a successful season and currently sit six points ahead of city rivals Rangers – having won 26 of their opening 33 Scottish Premiership matches.
Ange Postecoglou’s side recently secured a 2-1 victory over Rangers at Ibrox Stadium, with Tom Rogic and former Tottenham Hotspur man Cameron Carter-Vickers both getting on the scoresheet.
With just six games remaining, Giovanni van Bronckhorst’s men face an uphill battle to regain the SPL title and are relying on their rivals to drop points.
