If you’re a chap of a certain age you will have played on the old Championship Manager game.
There was but one name on everyone’s lips in the 2003-2004 season who you just had to sign.
That man (boy?) was American wonderkid Freddy Adu. He turned pro aged just 14 and was an absolute world-beater on there.
He probably helped you to multiple Premier League titles, Champions League victories and became a club legend for your Kidderminster Harriers team.
But back in the real world, his career didn’t exactly pan out quite like on Champ Man.
Adu now plies his trade with the Tampa Bay Rowdies in the North American Soccer League.
But some of that old magic (can we call it that?) is still there, and the 26-year-old shows some of those supposed talents that made him famous on the game.
This chip over the defenders to set up a goal for Brian Shriver was a thing of beauty…
