How swifty the rose of love can begin to wilt.
It wasn’t long ago that Chelsea fans were ecstatic to learn Pedro had plumped to join them ahead of rival Premier League suitors in a £21m deal from Barcelona.
The player too seemed as chuffed as punch. Not so much to leave his beloved Nou Camp, but more the chance for a fresh start and finally a first team berth at a top club.
Indeed he looked like a sensational buy in his first few appearances, adding directness and a slick touch to the final third of Jose Mourinho’s team.
But now, after only five months at the club, the Daily Star report that he wants out.
Apparently Chelsea boss Guus Hiddink doesn’t want to lose the player midway through the season, but the club will listen to offers in the summer.
The fans don’t seem too bothered judging from this lot…
