He might have failed to cut it in the Premier League, but Claudio Pizarro is adored in Germany.
The Peru striker, who scored just two goals for Chelsea after joining in 2007, has just joined Werder Bremen for the fourth time in his professional career.
And from the reception the 36-year-old got at Bremen airport, it’s easy to see why he keeps coming back.
Pizarro, who has also enjoyed two separate spells with Bayern Munich, has found the net more than 100 times for Werder, and led them to the 2009 UEFA Cup final.
They really love him out there.
