Call us crazy but we don’t think that’s going to help matters.
Chelsea youngster Charly Musonda is pretty clearly unhappy with his progress at Stamford Bridge.
The 20-year-old has found opportunities rather limited as he ups his attempts to break into the Blues first team this season and, on Monday night, Musonda took to Instagram to vent his frustrations.
In a veiled dig at the way that his club rarely affords chances to young players, the Belgium U21 international voiced his exasperation after making every effort to convince manager Antonio Conte of his abilities.
“You sacrifice, you work hard, harder, you give more than what’s expected and often more than you can, because you love what you do and clearly more than you should,” Musonda wrote as a caption under the below image.

“And what do you get back? Literally nothing… done.
“However, with this being said I will continue with same dedication and commitment to this great game.”
Musonda spent a portion of last season on loan at La Liga side Real Betis and would have been hopeful of his chances at Chelsea this season after making his full debut in a Carabao Cup clash with Nottingham Forest in September, when he scored in a 5-1 victory.
The midfielder’s brother confirmed that the somewhat vague post was indeed about the Blues’ youth policy with the below comment.

It’s not the first time that Musonda has been involved in some controversy at Stamford Bridge.
The youngster was reportedly involved in a training ground bust-up with Cesc Fabregas in 2015 after the Spaniard reacted angrily to being nutmegged.
Given the manner in which Conte handled the Diego Costa situation, we reckon Musonda can expect a text from the Italian this morning.
