McGregor has lost three of his last four fights.
A video has resurfaced on social media of Conor McGregor predicting his own downfall and claiming that he was losing his mind because of his career.
The Irish UFC star is nowhere near the levels he was a few years ago when he was at the peak of his powers, and some are suggesting that after three defeats in his last four outings in the cage it is time for the Notorious to retire.
Many have also questioned his behaviour and lavish lifestyle in recent years, in which he has also been part of a number of controversial incidents
But in the video from 2013 that has resurfaced online, it seems that McGregor knew this could be where his career ended up, as he speaks of his fears of losing his mind and becoming a “crazy, old man.”
In the video from 8 years ago, McGregor says: “I’ve lost my mind doing this game like Vincent Van Gogh.” Van Gogh famously dedicated his life to his art but suffered from depression and psychotic episodes, and eventually took his own life at the age of 37.
He continues: “That has happened to me but f**k it. When that gold belt is around my waist, when my mother has a big mansion, when my girlfriend has a different car for every day of the week and when my kids’ kids have everything they ever want and then it will pay. I will die a crazy old man.”

But he’s certainly made his millions and managed to provide for his family, with his mum celebrating her 60th birthday at the Versace mansion.
Former UFC champion Michael Bisping has warned that McGregor’s millions have turned him into a c*** though.
Speaking to the True Geordie podcast, the Brit said: “If you want to talk about someone who’s out of f**king control, Conor McGregor. He’s still got legions of f**king fans. It’s gotten worse, it’s got no better. Ego’s out of f**king control.
“Money doesn’t make you a man, it just exposes what a c*** you are, but at the end of the day people will tune in to see him fight inside the octagon.”
