Cristiano Ronaldo has 400 million Instagram followers, but he is seemingly unfamiliar with how the app works.
Fans were left confused after his most recent Instagram live – a feature that does exactly what it says on the tin, allows users to broadcast live to their followers – when Ronaldo just stared into the camera without saying a word from a sauna.
It’s not exactly a surprise to hear that Ronaldo is somewhat eccentric, that’s well established. But even by his standards, this was a baffling sight. Presumably he was enjoying watching all the love hearts and ‘GOAT’ comments pour in so much he forgot we could all see him.

Even former teammate and famous cheerleader of all things CR7, Rio Ferdinand, commented: “What you doing bro?”
The Portuguese forward recently hit the 400m mark on Instagram – a world record – after gaining 167m in the last five months following his return to Manchester United from Juventus.
But it’s not been the fairytale homecoming fans dreamed of – despite his 47 goals scored across all competitions in 2021 – with the 37-year-old racking up just eight Premier League goals so far this season and United battling to stay in the top four.
They’re also out of both domestic cups, with the Champions League their only remaining chance of silverware.
