Finally, Crystal Palace are up and running in the 2017/18 Premier League.
At the eighth time of asking, they recorded their first points and goals of the campaign on Saturday afternoon in a 2-1 victory over the champions, Chelsea.
For Chelsea, the defeat – their third of the season already – leaves them nine points off Manchester City at the Premier League summit.
To make matters worse, many have been quick to point to a video posted on their Twitter page prior to kick off at Selhurst Park…
Not that anyone needed reminding, a good chunk of the minute and 27 seconds long video is dedicated to reminding Chelsea’s followers of just how woeful the Eagles’ Premier League record has been this season.

Since full-time, the tweet has attracted plenty of retweets and comments – mainly from amused Palace supporters.
Chelsea will now turn their attention to the Champions League where they will face Roma at Stamford Bridge in midweek. After that, they’ll welcome Watford to the Bridge for their next Premier League encounter.
