You might remember a little earlier tonight we told you about a particularly cocky Tweet from one Danny Dyer.
The diehard West Ham fan was feeling so sure that the Irons’ final F.A Cup match at the famous Boleyn Ground would end in triumph that he decided to film himself saying opponents Manchester United were ‘finished’.
Things didn’t quite go to plan for the Hammers, though, with goals from Marcus Rashford and Marouane Fellaini enough to send United to the semi final.
A 79th minute James Tomkins header did give the hosts hope, but it was the Red Devils who had the last laugh on the night. The last laugh, that is, in the direction of Danny Dyer.
