Manchester City head into the international break with a flawless record under Pep Guardiola.
Having seen off West Ham in a 3-1 victory at The Etihad, their next match sees them travel across town to take on Manchester United on September 10.
There’s a very real chance that City will be without Sergio Aguero for the clash at Old Trafford, after the Argentine appeared to elbow Winston Reid during the second half of the match against West Ham.
United fans, no strangers to seeing the odd elbow here and there, have been quick to point out that such an offence is worthy of a three match ban and are unsurprisingly keen for City’s most potent goal-scorer to sit derby day out.
Those United fans that tuned into Match of the Day 2 on Sunday night might have hoped that Danny Murphy and Martin Keown – both on pundit duty – supported calls for Aguero to be hit with a retrospective ban.
Unfortunately, Murphy didn’t seem to completely agree with them.
“He can’t argue if he gets punished, but I think it’s one of those situations where some referees when they see it would say “yes it’s a red” and some wouldn’t,” the former Liverpool midfielder says.Â
“The big thing is the United game, isn’t it? It would be a shame for him to be missing that, from a neutral’s point of view.”
Should Sergio Aguero face a ban? #MOTD2 https://t.co/UegfZEE1qG

Those United fans watching weren’t too impressed with Murphy’s failure to condemn the City striker.
Don't know about Aguero, but Danny Murphy should be banned as a pundit. https://t.co/9wPbLvxP2Y
