David Beckham has played with some of the greatest players ever to kick a ball.
Eric Cantona, Ronaldo, Paul Scholes, Raul, Ryan Giggs, Luis Figo, Roy Keane, Jaap Stam, Roberto Carlos… the list goes on and on.
The free-kick specialist has got a hell of a pool of players to pick from and none of the above make the cut for his choice for best ever.
And we can’t really complain.

Becks has plumped for French legend Zinedine Zidane as the best player he’s played alongside and who, in all reality, is going to argue against it.
Beckham and Zizou were part of an unbelievable Real Madrid midfield in the mid-2000s and Zidane was doing some pretty special things back then so it’s hard to dispute Becks’ choice.
The pair of legends will be on opposite sides when Beckham captains a Great Britain and Ireland all-star side that will take on Zizou’s Rest of the World team in a charity match at Old Trafford on Saturday, November 14.
