For anyone who thinks that fighters don’t care who gets top billing, they do!
Tony Bellew will be hoping for a repeat of last March’s victory over perennial rival David Haye when the pair return to London’s O2 Arena this weekend for a rematch brimming with bad blood.
The outcome of the fight will always have an asterisk next to it because of the Achilles injury picked up by Haye midway through the bout but all doubt can be put to rest on Saturday night.
While an underdog, Bellew is understandably the A side for the rematch due to the fact that he came out on top last time around.
The Liverpool fighter has received top billing in all the promotion for Bellew vs. Haye II, being shown on the left side of all of the fight posters, and we can likely expect him to make the final ring walk.
Haye is not used to being the B side and hasn’t been so since his 2011 meeting with Wladimir Klitschko.
It’s clearly not sitting too well with the former world heavyweight and cruiserweight champion as, according to Sky Sports’ Ed Robinson, Haye brought along his own posters to Wednesday’s open workouts.

Eddie Hearn was first to react to the new posters, which showed Haye on the left, but soon a wave of abuse arrived which took the mick out of Haye for feeling the need to be on the left.

That on it’s own shows how much the defeat is haunting him and that bellew is still in his head
