RICE RICE BABY
If you’ve been on Twitter at all over the past couple of days, you’ll be well aware of the #SingYourDialect phenomenon. The idea is simple: A bloke from Manchester called Jacob hosts a Twitter space – like impromptu radio, for those unfamiliar – and strangers take it in turns to sing a song. The results, well, virality.
It all kicked off on Monday night, whetting the public’s appetite for a second bite of the apple on Tuesday. And there were special guests this time, most notably West Ham and England midfielder Declan Rice.
Rice was his usual chirpy self as he tuned in to take part, and showed no signs of virtual stage fright as he belted out Vanilla Ice’s Ice Ice Baby, with an obvious adaptation to the lyrics.

A tremendous effort, I’m sure you’ll agree.
Though it seems not everyone does – during Rice’s performance, it appeared that his England colleague Jude Bellingham was so unimpressed that he left the space halfway through.
We cannot yet confirm what prompted Bellingham’s exit from the space, but the timing certainly points to one conclusion.
10/10 for Declan Rice, doesn’t look like super Jude Bellingham was feeling it tho #singyourdialect pic.twitter.com/LmybQOFgT7
