The footballing world was devastated by the news of Johan Cruyff’s passing on Thursday.
Between his playing achievements and managerial endeavours, the Dutch maestro is arguably the most influential person in the history of the sport.
No one moment encapsulated the former Ajax and Barcelona playmaker’s genius more than the infamous ‘Cruyff turn’Â at the 1974 World Cup.

In light of recent events, Olsson was quizzed about his part in one of the most famous moments in football’s storied history, and he had a wonderfully appropriate response.
Just spoke to Jan Olsson, the defender from that Cruyff turn.
